Vinyl Posts
The structural properties inside the post allow you to firmly attach the rail up to 42″ high. Included in each post are two tie-down plates. The tie-down plate protects against uplift as it anchors each end of the post to the floor and roof structure of the porch. Compared to others, our Structural Posts are a full 108″ in height with a five-inch base on both ends, and will carry normal loads of up to 5,400 pounds. It will out perform traditional wood posts and won’t warp, twist, decay or reveal stress fractures inherent to wood.
